Wightman memberships are all-inclusive and provide ample access to all facilities without usage charges. Never worry about court fees again!
Small Membership
Limited to 300 memberships, Wightman maintains a small community atmosphere. Whether you’re a new member or a second-generation member, you’ll feel right at home.
Member-Operated Club
Wightman is a 501(c)7 nonprofit club, operating for the benefit of our 300 member families. The Club is managed by an elected Board of Governors comprised of volunteer members.
Membership Application Process
Completed applications (includes $100 non-refundable application fee) will be reviewed by the Membership Committee in the order they are received. The Vice President – Member Relations shall distribute to all Members the names of prospective applicants for comment before making recommendations to the Board.
Approved applicants will be invited to join the Wait List. If you decide to accept, you must respond in writing within 14 days and submit a $1,000 non-refundable Wait List deposit. Once your deposit is received, your name will be added to the bottom of the Wait List. You will receive notification when your name approaches the top of the Wait list, so that you will have time to procure the necessary funds. If you decide to withdraw your application, the $1,000 deposit will be forfeited.
Applicant Qualifications
- Applicants must be financially qualified persons of good character over age 21
- Applicants must secure two sponsors from existing Members
- Applicants must authorize their sponsors to disclose information to the Vice President – Member Relations for the purpose of investigating their background, character, general reputation, compatibility with the values of the Center, financial qualifications and any other matters considered relevant.
